Personal Introduction
Hi, I’m Gio – a firefighter by profession and an aquarist by passion. My journey with aquariums began over a decade ago, and what started as curiosity has grown into a lifelong dedication to aquatic life.
The Story of AquariumJunkie
My first encounter with the captivating world of aquariums was during my college years. Although I started with little knowledge, my fascination grew rapidly. Soon, I owned ten aquariums ranging from 40 to 125 gallons.
I dedicated myself to exploring diverse fish species, improving aquarium-building skills, and expanding my understanding of aquatic environments. Along the way, I was fortunate to have a mentor – Troy from Fin-Alley in Athens, GA – whose guidance was invaluable.
Today, AquariumJunkie stands as the result of that passion. What began as a hobby now serves clients across Georgia with professional aquarium care, cleaning, and maintenance.

Personal Touch
